Course Description :
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of screenplay writing for classical feature film scripts. Throughout the course students will develop a knowledge of script writing processes, film philosophy, act structure, character design, and idea pitching. Students will also be introduced to basic components in story design and scene design.

Certificate in Intermediate Script Design

Course Description :
This intermediate level course builds on knowledge developed in the Certificate in Basic Script Design. This course specifically focuses on techniques for designing stories for feature film. Through a series of lessons and workshops, students will develop creative writing skills related to feature film story design.

8 lessons, 3 hours duration.

Certificate in Advanced Script Design

Course Description :
The Advanced Script Design course further develops skills and knowledge gained in the Basic and Intermediate level courses. Students will gain a more advanced level of knowledge in scene and dialogues design, theoretically and practically. Upon completion of the course students will expand the story outlines developed in the intermediate level course into screenplays.
