After completing my Diploma course in Digital Filmmaking at SAE, Bangkok I´m more than satisfied with the school. The course itself contains a lot useful and interesting film making theory mixed with developing, creative projects such as short films, documentaries, music videos etc. My lecturer Giorgio was a great and devoted teacher, with a big knowledge about everything concerning movie production. I don´t think I had one single question he couldn´t answer, and he took all of our projects very seriously. Always ready with important input. Not too kind, and not too tough. The rest of the staff at SAE Bangkok was great too, and it was a joy coming to school even during the rainy season. SAE Bangkok has a very creative environment and I always felt very inspired when I left the building after a long school day. I think the best thing with SAE Bangkok is that they let the student decide what level they want to produce their projects on. If you are a beginner you might want to handle smaller productions and if you are more ambitious they will help you make your visions come to life. I also made a lot of cooperation with the audio students in my film projects. They are very ambitious and you should absolutely take advantage of having those students so close to you in school. I highly recommend anyone who wants to develop their artistic skills and take their film/audio interest to a higher level to apply for SAE Bangkok. -The perfect combination of a creative film school and a smiling city that never sleeps. “SAE Bangkok was a great starting place for me because of how few students there are in the school at one time. This gives me, and im sure other students, a better study atmosphere and the chance to use equipment and ask questions more frequently. The teachers were great and were always there to help and answer my questions. They were also there to add their own creative insight to my work, which I appriciate alot. My fellow students were a great group of international students. I really enjoy having a class of students from all over the world, because it starts more discussions about subjects and lets you learn how things may differ from place to place. “I have to admit that I didn't know much about the SAE in Bangkok before I arrived as an eager fresher. But since my first lecture, a general introduction to music, to my very last class on Surround Sound and Audio Amplifiers I was encouraged to delve further into my academic passions. The support given by the lecturers and administrators is second to none. I was convinced that I had made the right choice of quitting my previous IT job and taking up the Audio engineering program. This is not only curricular (although being taught by some of the people who are at the forefront of their discipline is, of course, amazing and obvious from the start) but also, I found that if I had any questions there was always someone to speak to who would be glad to offer help irrespective of the department they belong to. It is this truly nurturing environment, which inspires the students to strive to be the best they can be. At least, I know it did for me!!!… I have come out of SAE Bangkok with the confidence and skills to, get a new job almost immediately and immerse myself in the music industry. “If you ask me for me, I’ll tell you that SAE BKK is one of the best institute in the world, because one is fact's that the knowledge of the teacher's at SAE BKK are great. They teach you the basis to the best of your understand, My time at SAE was one of my best time because I could see that their mission is creative training. They make us to understand the world of Audio Engineering. The teacher's are all good at what they do and especially brett who is very good at what he do. He is always there for student hoping you will ask him any question about music world and he is willing to explain to you to the best of his ability. We also got Tee and Pat who is very good as well at teaching and they are all cool guy. And one the thing I really love about SAE BKK is their facilities. Their Individual Workstations, Computer Labs, Recording Studios, 16 Track studio and the 24 Track recording studio. And also the thing I really love again about this Institute is the Film design Studio and the Class room. For me I spent most of my time at SAE BKK. When I was Schooling there and we were all given the opportunity for practical session and enough time to do what we like most. “SAE Bangkok offers a couple of benefits to a traditional Thai Communication Arts course. The biggest probably being that we are very focused on film making and are therefore able to cover a big range of topics for a short amount of time. Learning is very practical and hands on with several individual projects completed to quality standards to take away as a showreel once the students receive their Diplomas. “Life without music would be a mistake” SAE Bangkok is where I finally found myself after years of administrative office work. In spite of 30+ in age, I felt like an elementary kid; learning something new every day and gearing with skills and authoritarian opinions in Sound Engineering, as well as theory, hands-on experience and quick problem solving are also crucial in Sound Business. Although the theory classes were 4 days a week 3 hours a day, I found myself spending countless hours of studio time 6 days a week, working on a school project or personal experiments, which save any student years of field experience. It's inevitable to say that SAE Bangkok raise my profession to next level. To be more exact, SAE Bangkok had helped me to understand deeper into the field of Mixing, Mastering, Advanced Recording, MIDI, Live Reinforcement , and ProTools(here I refer only the fields I really wanted to study before I joined SAE). I am so glad I joined this College as It had help me in practical-wise and theory wise. The things I’ve learned helped me a lot to be a more professional, organized, focused and skilled artist as well (Songwriter, musician and Vocalist). It is my first experience to study in this course “Audio Engineering”, and it’s in SAE Bangkok. Although I never use those gears and doing recording before, the teachers have the passion to teach no matter what, they not only want you to get graduate but make sure you understand what they are teaching. While practicing in the studio, sometime they will just walk-in and check out what is going on, and give some ideas and skills. That’s kind of cool teachers, thumbs up! SAE Bangkok is a good starting platform for a shot at the recording and media industry. From here you really could end up anywhere and it's your choice. In the dynamic world of the recording and media industry, having the foundation knowledge of audio engineering is a must and those without will get lost so I definitely recommend this course. I decided to start here and then go from there and it's landed me in one of the biggest events firms in the world, helping organize the London Olympics in 2012. The nine months in SAE gave me the technical knowledge involved in my work which made me a more valuable asset to employers. Always being interested in video and sound, I found myself working in music productions, radio broadcasts and live music entertainment as a performer and a sound technician. Getting more involved in it, I decided I needed a focused study on the matter to perfect my technical skills. I graduated as an international student from the 2010 Audio Engineering Diploma class at SAE Bangkok. If you have a passion for sound, video and arts, then i would say you are looking in the right direction. SAE granted me a complete training both theoretical and practical using excellent educational methods in a logic and progressive path. In class as well as in the studios, one is always stimulated by notions and creative tasks that allows you to develop the technical skills and necessary attitude to access and use all the industry standard equipment, software and devices, along with the unique mixing desks and outboard gear present in the school's facilities, learning professional techniques and advanced methods of work that really makes the difference. Together with the help and the advice from great individuals, such as the well experienced lecturers and all of the people at SAE Bangkok. They always taking care of the students by every mean, you'll be guided throughout all the course phases, and if a serious effort is put on practising accordingly to what has been thought, you could see yourself achieving daily improvements and results in your works. Be prepared because the course is a serious deal, but if you got a passion and you are seriously committed, you will succeed. Of course SAE Thailand is a multidisciplinary educational environment, so I had the chance to meet a lot of interesting people from all over the world, starting relationship and creating networks and often ending up with collaborations that lasts. Along with the lecturers I also met and talk with external experts working in the industry, which names could be easily found in major movie credits or awards winners music production, and they passed me exclusive golden tips I'm making treasure of. As I found previous and after the course, SAE is a well recognized school in the industry, and every serious one working in the music business know and respect the name.
